PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE

HOW IT WORKS

Parks Therapy Centre welcomes Patients with Private Health Insurance and is happy to settle accounts directly with many of these schemes, including Aviva, AXA/PPP, BUPA, Cigna and Simply Health. Please ask Reception for information on how Parks deals with your particular Insurance Company.

Some Private Health policies allow Patients to book a course of treatment directly, whereas other companies require prior approval or referral by a GP. If necessary, Patients should check with their Insurance Company before booking treatment.

Many Private Health policies require Patients to pay an amount towards the cost of treatment – an Excess. When making their initial appointment, Patients should ensure that they advise Reception of any Excess payable on their policy and settle promptly any such Excess due on their account at the end of treatment.

Many Private Health policies do not cover the supply of Appliances or other supplied items that may be needed during treatment. Patients should check with their Insurance Company if they have any doubts about the cover provided.

Statements of Account will be issued at the end of each Course of Treatment and are due to be settled in full within 30 days.

Patients with Private Health Insurance should note that they remain responsible for their Accounts. Any problems that may arise with Insurance Companies should not be allowed to delay settlement of Accounts
